Description
Sucker rods are essential components in oil production systems, connecting the surface pumping unit to the downhole pump. Our sucker rods are available in various diameters, including 5/8” (15.88mm), 3/4” (19.05mm), 7/8” (22.23mm), 1” (25.40mm), and 1-1/8” (28.58mm). Each rod undergoes full-length normalization to relieve residual stresses, followed by air quenching and tempering processes to refine and homogenize the grain structure. This meticulous manufacturing process enhances the rods' mechanical properties, ensuring durability and extended service life.
Drive rods are specifically engineered to withstand the high torque levels encountered in progressing cavity pump applications. They are available in body diameters of 1” (25.40mm), 1-1/4” (31.75mm), and 1-1/2” (38.10mm). Similar to our sucker rods, drive rods undergo full-length normalization, air quenching, and tempering to achieve optimal mechanical properties.
Pony rods, shorter versions of sucker rods, are utilized to adjust the length of the rod string accurately. They are manufactured with the same stringent quality standards and materials as our sucker rods, ensuring consistent performance across all rod lengths.
