The blowout preventer(BOP) is an essential pressure control device during driling and operations, as it serves to prevent the uncontrolled leakage of oil/gas from the wells.
Over the past 40 years, Better Petro has been maintaining and repairing BOPs at the Shengli Oilfield. In 2006, we got API 16A certificate (certificate No. API 16A-0172) for fabricating BOPs and related accessories. Since then, we developed three series of BOPs: drilling BOP, workover BOP and oil producing BOP.
Better Petro can also produce annular BOPs, single ram BOPs and double ram manual BOPs. The BOP rams are manifold, including: blind ram, pipe ram, shear ram and variable diameter ram. Due to its stable performance and long service life, our BOP wins high praise from our customers.
The hydraulic ram BOP is mainly used in workover and drilling operations with varied technical requirements. With a BOP body,side outlet, ram body, and other pressure bearing parts crafted from defect-free forged metal, and an oval-shaped inner chamber to reduce stress concentration and improve its sealing performance, this BOP can efficiently prevent an oil well blowout.
The double ram manual BOP
can be equipped with different types of rams, such as pipe ram, blind ram, shear ram or variable diameter ram, to meet different applications. The ram seal is a float type, which will decrease the resisitance and abrasion of the rubber core.The service life is greatly prolonged. Its anti-H2S performance conforms to NACE MR 0175 standard.
Our API 16A hydril annular BOP can be used in work over and drilling operations equipped with hydril control systems. The BOPs are designed and manufactured in full conformity to the API 16A standard. The annular BOP mainly consists of a body, a header, a rubber core, and a piston. The inner rubber core is interchangeable. While the annular BOP can be used independently, it normally works with a single or a double BOP.It can seal the drilling tool or well bore efficiently, preventing oil well blow outs. Its anti H2S performance conforms to the NACE MR 0175 standard.
